Explorations
Evora Portugal
One of the oldest towns in Portugal and in Europe... standing stones and menirs outside of town date from 6,000 BCE. The town was already in existence when the Celts came and much later the Romans..followed by the Moors. The history in this town is amazing...the people and the sense of "good life" is perhaps what struck us most. We also quite an adventure trying to find where we parked the car....totally lost the car for hours....not a bad place to be lost though!!!
